The game does not support such high resolutions. You need to change the screen resolution to 1024x768

 

Try to change game resolution to 1024x768. Do you have black bars on the sides? Perhaps the problem is the result of the absence of black bars on the sides.

Firstly, thank you for taking the time to make the video and post the instructions.

I've been on a quest all day after finding my old Cossacks II this morning, to get the game playing on Window 10.

I'm not very computer literate, but I've got it up until your final point "graphic mode is not supported" error box. However, I'm clicking "debug", then trying to run again shortly after, but it keeps returning me back to that error box.

Any idea what I need to do next?

I think the biggest success would be a sc2 copy in cossack 3 graphics mod. Cause Cossack 3 gameplay is shitty to be polite.

 

Open task manager and kill process explorer.exe, then resume the game with Alt+Tab and see if it works. Did for me.
