There is also the possibility of some later addition on the building that the building designer of Cossacks chose to not represent in the game.

I have some other ideas, but not better. Unfortunately, the most hungarian double-tower church is similar, but as you said, devs edited the buildings, so finding the perfect match is very difficult.

    Btw. your idea is good.

  4. I have updated the list with the Austrian Town Hall (Landhaus of Klagenfurt). Thank you! :)

Regarding the proposal for Hungarian Town Hall, I agree with Npeter 87, it is similar but it could be other. I have found the Márianosztra Church, but I think is also similar but not the right one. What do you think?:

Talking about the Scottish buildings, I would be happy to include them in the record, but I have not the game models to fill the sheet.
I have not yet the DLC Guardians of the Highlands, but if someone gives me a link with the game models I will include Scotland in the list ;)

  5. The list has been updated with the Swiss academy, found as the Thun Rathaus (Town Hall): :)

Probably the forum users known other buildings of their nations, it would be wonderful to share all our knowledge, specially in buildings from Prussia or Saxony, where there are just a bit of matches.

Just an idea, but i think the inspiration of piedmontese 17th c Barracks could be the Sforza Castle (Galliate) - Castello Sforzesco di Galliate
Not to be confused with the Sforza Castle in Milan.

    Cossacks 1 building:

  7. Hi guys!

I am really tankful to Marsal and Morion, thanks a lot for your cooperation and your big contributions! :)
Just a little correction: I have found the Scottish cathedral, it is the Church of the Holy Rude at Stirling.

I have updated the file, here are the changes:

-Scotland is included with models of C3
-Scottish Town Hall is Ballindalloch Castle (Banffshire)
-Scottish Cathedral is the Church of the Holy Rude (Stirling)
-Scottish Barracks of 17th century are Drumlanrig Castle (Dumfriesshire)
-Scottish Barracks of 18th century are Cawdor Castle (Nairnshire)
-Piedmontese Barracks of 17th century are the Sforza's Castle (Galliate)
-Ukraine is modified with the models of C3 because the model of its cathedral has changed (in Cossacks European Wars was the Elijah's Church at Subotiv and in Cossacks 3 is the Saint Sophia's Cathedral at Kiev)

The file location has been updated, now the PDF is in the following link:

I have a theory about the Ukrainian Diplomatic Center: Could be inspired in the Klov Palace? What do you think?

Hi! I was willing to say that I really like this thread, very nice idea! I am impressed by some players' culture ;)

By the way, your link in 1st post was working a couple of days ago but is not working anymore, are you aware of it?

Yep, cool, it's better to keep the link in the 1st post up to date.

I'd try to find some buildings for the factions for which most are lacking, but I think some Cossacks buildings are really just creations

  11. I have a proposal for Prussian 17th century barracks: Kobolzeller Gate (Rothenburg ob der Tauber).

There is just a problem: Rothenburg ob der Tauber is in Bavaria, not in Prussia :D
    What do you think?

    Hi Spanish Empire,
I think it's not problem. I find the Kamianets-Podilskyi Castle which is in some parts (especially towers) resembles to the Polish 17th century Barracks. But Kamianets-Podilskyi is in Ukraine.

I think Kobolzeller Gate (Rothenburg ob der Tauber) as Prussian 17th century barracks and Klov Palace (Kiev) as Ukrainian Diplomatic Center is correct.

  13. Hi Morion :)

Thanks a lot for your discovery, I think you are totally right and the Kamieniec-Podolski castle is the Polish XVII century barracks. It seemed strange, but during XVI-XVII centuries, that region of Ukraine was under control of Poland-Lithuania.

I have modified the list with the following updates:

-Polish XVII century barracks are found as Kamianets-Podilskyi Castle (Kamianets-Podilskyi)
-Prussian XVII century barracks are found as Kobolzeller Gate (Rothenburg ob der Tauber)
-Ukrainian diplomatic center is found as Klov palace (Kiev)

The file remains in the location:

    Thank you!

The "Sant'Agnese in Agone" curch in Roma look like the Piemont Cathedral.

    Sant'Agnese_in_Agone_(Piazza_Navona)_September_2015-1.jpg

Also, for the Piemont XVII century barracks, I've already see a castle in Italy which look like exacly the same, and I think it wasn't the Sfordza Castle.

  15. Hi DoubleHeadedEagle,

I think your proposal is pretty similar, but I am not sure. The towers of the model has 4 bodies, however, the Sant'Agnese in Agone Church has towers with only three. Also the top ending of the tower is a little different.

If you have a better proposal por Piedmont XVII century barracks, tell us and if it is better, I would modify the list :)

    Hi Spanish Empire,

I'm glad to tell you I've found the Piedmont barrack :) :
It took me a LONG time to find it again, as it's not very popular :

It's the Villa Medici di Cafaggiolo (Tuscany ) (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Villa_Medici_at_Cafaggiolo)

    villa_cafaggiolo.jpg

As the building is in Tuscany and town hall in Roma, it let me thinking that Piedmont in Cossacks 1 don't represent Savoy but instead Italy :( (Or central Italy if we take in count Venice). It's sad to see a such amalgam (as I think Cossacks lack a proper Savoy/Sardinia nation (but mods can still solve this problem :D)).

For the cathedral, I made research and I can't say. In fact, lots of churches look similar. Perhaps it was a "made" building (like some of Cossacks buildings from the early stage of developpment).

Oh and something more (edition to avoid double post)

The town where is the original bulding for the Prussian XVIIth c. barack is near the town of Ansbach. So in the 18th c., the building is in the principality of Ansbach, which was selled to Prussia in 1791 (so very late 18th c.). It can be a link ...

I think I found the hungarian town center. Unfortunately, this cathedral has been rebuilt many times. It is an orthodox "church", so the devs easily "pick up" this building into the game.

Name: Az Istenszülő-elhunyta Nagyboldogasszony magyar ortodox székesegyház / Hungarian Greek Orthodox Church of the Assumption

Nice guess Npeter87. I pass this church every day twice when I go to work and go home, and I never thought that it could be the Hungarian town hall. In fact, I have no idea where the devs got the ideas like the Teleki palace or this church, buildings which don't exist in this form since hundreds of years. :D

  19. Hi guys!

Thanks DoubleHeadedEagle, I think your discovery is impeccable. Thanks also for Npeter87, the old church shown is almost identical, so both are approved ;)

I have found also the Piedmontese Academy as the Villa Medici at Poggio a Caiano (Tuscany):

I have updated the file, adding also an index, in order to find better the country.
