True, that's why it could be an alternative game mode. In some shooters, players can add a handicap to increase the challenge.
Spamming to boost apm seems IMHO more ridiculous. It would make the game more challenging. To be clear: this would be OPTIONAL.
What about an option to limit the APM in order to boost EPM: When this is enabled, a player can only do a limited amount of actions per minute....
