Thanks for the offer Fedot, but I've actually deleted all my Gunners because I haven't the ability to attach them to the Cannons, once I've finished doing everything else I'm going to look at what Awar has done.
Using Awars 'Fantastic Models' this is my representation of Ireland, not historically accurate but loosely based on the Irish Legion that fought for Napoleon in the early 19th Century. Celtic Warrior.... Chasseur........... Voltigeur.................Grenadier..................Guard.....................Officer............... Standard Bearer....................... Lancer............................Hussar......................... General.
I've noticed that in the SvC++ they changed again how artillery works and now the gunners are part of the cannons models, so you may want to look at the code from previous versions. Also because this new artillery's behaviour looks kinda broken...
The artillery immediately breaks down when approached by enemy units instead of being captured, even if capture is enabled
Hi Fedot, I've been thinking about your offer, would it be possible to arm a peasant with a sword/sabre as I am thinking of adding militia to each nation like the Celtic Warrior I gave to Ireland, at the moment there are no suitable models for the European Nations as the Light Infantry model doesn't really fit, no worries if it can't be done.
Hi Loner, thank you so much for responding to my suggestion, and also the new units for Ireland really look very good, great, including a Celtic warrior with a sword and shield!
Hi, Loner, I apologize for not trying to do something myself, but only making suggestions. But still, is it possible to take a model of a peasant, converted into a soldier, and hang a rapier or saber on his belt, and also leave him an animation of a peasant battle, only instead of an axe to give this soldier a rapier or saber in his hand!
That's okay Fedot, no worries, I'm afraid that is beyond me, I have no modelling or animation skills, I'll leave it for now and carry on with updating the remaining Nations which is basically just a colouring job, something I can do.
Replaced Venice with Italy, used the officer19garfra model for a Militia unit, not the best but it fits the bill. Militia........................Jager ...................Voltigeur..................Grenadier................Guard......................Officer................Standard Bearer.......................Lancer.......................Hussar.........................General.
I don't know if you had previously downloaded my mod but if you had you would have seen that I had added China, well I decided that China had to go so I am replacing them with Mexico.
Yes, of course Loner, I downloaded the latest version of your wonderful, very good mod, played it, and all the peoples in it are well known to me, Mexico is a very good option, especially closer to the middle of the 19th century, the army of this country tried to copy the army of Napoleonic France
