Their PR campaign is going to be pretty big hopefully once the game releases. They've been gathering well known youtubers and twitch streamers who will hopefully help promote the game after release.
Yes this is important question. I also have 4k 27 inich screen so bigger hub is important. Does game support it?
Will the upgrades of attack/defense of units in the barracks or in the arsenal and academy be a fixed amount later and not in percentage as now ? Because when, for example, we increase the levels to the academy, according to a certain order, the maximal attack of the same unit can varied from a party to an other one when everything is increased. Example: +20%/+10%/+30%/+15 % or +15%/+30%/+10%/+20 %. It is not clear as system. Would be it possible to replace the increases by percentage by increases by fixed amount for every improvement? Example : +10 dmg/+20 dmg/+30 damages Thanks
My most important questions now are these. When are we getting 2x (double-size maps)? When are we getting recordings and replays? Can we have an 8th game slot? Can even 3v3 and 4v4 games not give a "Cabbage Patch" position? (This might be tricky as it would change the map generation algorithm quite a bit.) What I mean in question four can be illustrated as follows. The cabbage patch is in the middle of the map. Imagine the map divided into 9 equal squares like a noughts and crosses or tic-tac-toe game. The eight squares around the edges are for players, the ninth square in the middle is the cabbage patch and could be a no-man's land for the duration of any peace time. Of course, people might prefer irregular peace time territories as that gives more playing variety.
I will mention too that replays are critical for diagnosing some bugs. Not every bug can be captured by a screenshot. I have miners disappearing from my mines. I have not sent them out of my mine and I have not starved my nation, so why are my miners disappearing from my mines? A screenshot cannot show this, only a recording can show it. The replay watcher could watch the mine and see the moment it happens. This would help diagnosis of the fault. Are other people having this bug? It happens quite regularly to me in big games like 3v3. It makes it very hard to manage a nation and watch out for this plus do normal eco and battles. I am not a good enough player to handle this handicap.
Agreed, I miss the video replays. I would spend hours pouring over them to try and figure out how I was getting beat. If I remember correctly GSC pioneered the replay. It would be good to see it return.
With score time Equal to PT time playing such a map would give some people orgasm ^^ . My questions: 1. Did development team will introduce balancing system into a game. For example : Venice , Spain , Algeria , Piedmont , Portugal , Austria , England , France , Sweden , Russia. So they could compete with power nations? For example in C1 Denmark , Bavaria could build 6 Stables while other countries 9. Now Denmark , Bavaria can make 9 , while Russia can build less... And still there are nations where is easy to foretell who's gonna win. 2. Is it possible w/o modding to add Standard Bearers similar like in AQ? While AQ was made it was obvious that they were used in warfare and could form formations. In cossacks we do not have such a feature. For example : Standard bearer could be expensive unit to be build it could get ~ 16-25 defence power. And while Formations have standard bearers they could get bonus +5 attack + 4 defence. Stand Ground +12 attack + 12 defence. Cavalry might use saber to defend themselves , don't know about infantry yet. Still Big standards like in AQ not like is it at the moment. LOL.
If you try the OC mod, then you will get all of these items in the game. But sorry no standard bearers as of yet. (But we are working on it)
I propose to add in the future animations moving grass and trees on the wind, weather events like rain or storm. And finally, more types of maps like ukrainian steppe, alpine mountains or spanish hills. This is possible ?
1. Is there gonna be in future more animations? For example reloading for both cavalry and infantry units? Any alternative close range for light infantry like sabres? . I understand that Bavarian Musketeer 18c has 9 ; 33(trained) melee damage. But how does it look? For example English Highlander squad 10 units are attacked by 1 sich cossacks and they stand with their muskets pointed to other side. While they could beat it defend themselves lol. It even might be awesome if shooting resources would end so they could go melee. ATM 1 light cavalry horseman with 1 hp goes into band of dragoons and if not other one from distance wil shoot that light cavalry unit they will die. And it looks if they are watching with spyglass to whatever location. (IMPERIA mod in c1 was s*** because Sax musketeer had bayonet which had no proper animation and killed units in melee with shooting animation :-D ) so the main question : if devs or modders are up to realism is it possible? 2. Cannons even elevated still cannot shoot through stone wall. Will we get such a feature that positioning of cannons will reflect to their shooting range and direction the cannonballs will fall?
