In the period of Cossacks 3 game there were plenty of interesting, important units. Which formations do you miss the most in the game?
About French Horse Grenadiers - I mean those used by the army of the Bourbons , not those of the Napoleonic Era. But I forgot about one interesting unit for England - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horse_Grenadier_Guards
We miss most of these except the Ukraine melee unit, indeed I won`t miss Ukraine if it got removed completely.
Why exactly this regiment of guard? Why not "Preobrazhensky Foot Guards", "Pavlovsky Foot Guards", "Izmaylovsky Foot Guards" etc? I don't understand why you propose single, chosen regiments as separate units...

So the only reason is that developers of a Total War game chosen exactly this regiment (they only know why) among many others... lol I think you should find better source than other strategy games. Maybe division into single regiments can works fine with Total War games style however that totally do not fit to Cossacks 3. For Cossacks 3 your proposals just seem to be a little far-fetched, e.g. Royal Horse Guards which you proposed were just Cuirassiers renamed to Royal Horse Guards in 1750. I hope you will delete such units from your list and improve this poll.

I forgot about this unit for France - Maison du Roi. This is elite royal guard contains many units but i chose foot guard unit. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maison_du_Roi http://wiki.totalwar.com/w/Maison_du_Roi_(ETW_unit) And this for Russia. http://wiki.totalwar.com/w/Cossack_Infantry_(ETW_unit) - Russians also should have some Cossack unit.
The king's musketeer we have in game are part of the Maison du Roi. It's not specific to an unit but something that include all servant and military that serve the king of France directly.
Russian winged hussar! :-D omg it does look so ridiculous! :-D . I'm for Carolignian Musketeers. What makes Sweden even more unique. And ofc! Don't forget half naked cosacks with sabres just like in game cover :-D
what about Algerian Bedouin? Algeria already has so few units, I would hope it would get it. make the upgrades very expensive but also powerful so it can also be active in late game.
I think that someday Algeria will also have its own Campaign and new units (perhaps Bedouins and hopefully Berber Musketeer).
In best option algeria might get tribalsmen using primitive weapons like knives and throwing stones. Because Algeria was poor with stupid people and technology equivalent to 7 century. At least I see that in Cossacks game :-D
