Patch Notes 14.06.17 (

    Dear friends!

    Today we will start the selections of Season Clash participants and in the end of June the battle among the best Cossacks players would begin. We will provide further details on tournament on Friday. Meet the last pre-tournament balance patch, which includes reworked economics and market trades. Balance has been changed too. You may find further details on these changes below:

    Patch Notes 14.06.17 (

    1. Increased food harvesting speed by 15% (1 field holds more concurrently working peasants now).
    2. Mine upgrades cost has been decreased.
    3. Academy food upgrades costs have been decreased.

    1. Resource prices regenerate (restore to their former values) much faster now.
    2. Stone and wood prices has been increased. Wood is more valuable than stone now.

    New features:
    1. Random and multiplayer games options now include fixed speed options.
    2. Random and multiplayer games options now include population limit options.
    3. Critical hit mechanics has been reworked. Now, critical chance concludes 4%. Critical hit adds random damage (from 0 to 400). Units with high health would die less frequently, than infantry.
    4. Now, you can form squads starting from 15 soldiers.

    Palisade (wooden wall):
    1. Protection increased from 15 to 95. Now it can hold some time against archers, but grenades are still highly effective.

    1. Ships construction speed upgrade increases construction speed in 5 times instead of 10.
    2. Ships are constructed twice as fast now.
    3. Ships construction prices are lowered.

    1. Fixed wood resource gathering on desert maps.
    2. Improved game`s performance for large quantities of heavy sipahis on screen.
    3. Fixed achievements: Frantic struggle, Uneven chances, Surrounded at all sides.
    4. Fixed Stand Ground error for shooters. When you commanded to move&attack to point, shooters often didn`t attacked enemies. And, when they reached destination point, they weren`t attacking units located too far, when they had enemy units nearby. Now, when shooter has Stand Ground order he looks for target he`s able to attack.
    5. Fixed an error, which caused incorrect display of buildings hit points on client PCs. There were mines, which were looking damaged, and players were unable to order peasants to repair this mine or get inside. Shipyards, standing still with 0 hp, while not exploding were fixed too.

    1. XVIII century upgrade cost decreased.
    2. Balloon upgrade cost increased from 1750 gold to 5750 gold, to compensate lower 18th century upgrade cost.
    3. Bayonet upgrades (academy ones) costs have been decreased.
    4. Changed firepower upgrades in Academy. Costs changed from 6000, 7000, 12000, 21000 gold to 5000 iron, 4000 gold, 7000 gold, 11000 coal.
    5. Added both cuirass upgrades for Turkey (effects heavy sipahi).

    1. Stables, 18th century barracks, artillery depot costs decreased.
    2. Artillery depot requires academy now (stables aren`t required anymore).
    3. Construction time for stone and wooden walls has been lowered (33% approximately).
    4. 18th century barracks construction time decreased by 20%.
    5. Cannon`s reload time for cannister shot and cannonball shot is the same now.

    Units balance:

    1. Light infantry damage increased from 14 to 15
    2. Roundshier damage decreased from 8 to 6.
    3. Roundshier price increased from 8 gold to 12.
    4. Roundshier protection changed from (pike 4, sword 5, arrow 17) to (pike 5, sword 3, arrow 19).
    5. Archer damage increased from 20 to 25.
    6. Grenadier grenade attack range decreased from 500 to 370.
    7. Grenadier`s health increased from 25 to 30.
    8. Dragoon's damage decreased from 20 to 16.
    9. Dragoon's reload time decreased by 15%.
    10. Dragoon's minimal shooting range increased from 300 to 350.
    11. Dragoon's maximal shooting range decreased from 850 to 800.
    12. Dragoon's shot cost in iron increased from 4 to 5.

    Register cossack - Ukraine:
    - Damage decreased from 13 to 12.

    Hetman - Ukraine:
    - Damage decreased from 75 to 70.
    - Decreased hetman attack upgrade value from 50 to 30.
    - Training time increased from 13.5s to 17.5s.

    Heavy sipahi - Turkey:
    - Pike protection decreased from 3 to 2.

    Peasant - Algeria, Turkey:
    - Food consumption decreased by 10%.

    Light Infantry - Algeria, Turkey:
    - Damage with all upgrades increased by 2.

    17c musketeer:
    - Protection upgrades costs decreased.

    - Protection upgrades costs decreased.

    17c dragoon:
    - Protection upgrades costs decreased.

    18c cavalry:
    - Protection upgrades costs decreased.

    17c shooters:
    - Almost all 17th century shooters (except serdiuk) are trained 0.5-1 second faster now.

    Mounted shooters:
    - Almost all mounted shooters are trained faster.

    18c shooters without bayonets:
    - Protection upgrades costs decreased.

    Good changes.

    In next update do not forget about improve some units like Janissary , Chasseur, Tatar , Polish Light Rider or Winged Hussar.

    Good changes, but May I ask one question? Turkey still needs balloon and equivalent unit as 18th century European units. Janissary and other Turkish units don't hold the line against 18th century European units. If you add a balloon for Ukraine. You have to add Turkey too. Turkey has a good relationship with European nations. Like France and other states. These are my humble suggest for your valuable developers.

    I think that Turkey don't need any balance changes now.

    Ernest, you are right but If you play with Turkey need balloon. Every state has ballooned except Turkey and Algeria. If I play with my partners on multiplayer game If I chose Turkey. I fed up to say please open the balloon. According to me It likes begging.

    I never have problems with baloon in Turkey. If you want see something you have to just conquer. Maybe you dont know, but drummers have wide see area, so you can see whole maps thanks to drummers. Only noobs play with baloons on start. Turkey is even stronger than Ukraine if you can play it.

    Am I going insane or was the original post edited? I could have sworn I read just a few hours ago that the academy firepower upgrades were all adjusted to be 15%. Did I just dream that?

    I remember reading that as well, that they changed the upgrade so that each added 15%

    Okay Ernest That's your view, That's my view. I've just told my views. I'm not noob player. I can say I'm ordinary player not good not bad. I know to conquer the enemy, but I don't want to conquer enemy to open this balloon. I'd make my own balloon.I also know the drummer like scout:)) But I don't like it this situation. The drummer is a drummer doesn't scout. Drummer duty is play marches and assemble the soldiers. I'm not historian, but we have no historical evidence to drummer like a scout duty and also Ukraine and also Turkey used balloon too.But I know this is a game, but I need to see something new. Turkey is also good with heavy cavalry. I liked it, but Ukraine has a good shooter unit and also fast cavalry units:)) Turkey also needs fast cavalry too. That's my last proposition for developers. By the way all changes are good. Thanks developers.

    Ukraine is still a game breaker. Ridiculously easy to play and unbeatable when fully upgraded unless arty is allowed. Heck, I just had a full portuguese army with lots of dragoons and volunteers on a hill, got attacked by a much lower number of serdiuks, couldn't even kill half of them.

    I don't understand why you let this rambo serdiuk thing go on for so long.

    The devs let the rambo serdiuks go on because they are from the Ukraine and they want their country to stay strong, they have overwhelming patriotic feelings. By the way is it really true that wood is now more valuable than stone? I cant play for a couple of days thats why I'm asking ..

    You can just make arts and you can destroy serdiuks easily.

    Ernest, you're right, but many players don't allow artillery, the wall and the other things market and diplomatic centre:)) Do you have an any suggestion for this situation?

    I think Ukraine is a tricky nation to balance, they have only one infantry possibility after all. They are strong in late game, but they sure struggle early game and with the last patch, their cavalry offer a bit more flexibility but still it's all melee. And the last update doesn't help them that much, on the contrary their opponent all got faster.
    I find the new cost to upgrade to the XVIIIth c. to low as well as really cheap XVIII barrack but well we need to try it to know !

    I'll try your suggestion Foeurdr. Thanks. But Serdiuk firepower problem is still going on. Sometimes I can't get close to them. They are very strong opponent for me. I'd see some fix for their firepower this patch. Maybe the next patch will fix it.

    I have suggestion, don't play with such players. There are many players, who play everything default and game works very well.

    Good suggestion:)) Okay, I'll join these player games:)) I hope so I can defeat Ukraine. But I'm not %100 sure:))

    Do like I do. Play gzme with all nations except ukraine. If u know the player is nOob he can choose any nation :-D . I beated one guy 30 pt 5000 ress. With Spain Ukraine. Dude in 30 mins got even 4 barracks and 1 big formation of serdiuks. While I had just 4 18c barracks... and more muskets + pikes for meat not to mention hussars :-D
