    Dear friends!

    We are wholeheartedly congratulating you on past holidays!
    We're presenting you a new update, which has multiplayer fixes and various small balance changes.

    Patch Notes 16.01.18 (

    1. Ranked games points calculation has been changed:
    - First player to leave, before the end of peace time receives a penalty to his score and defeat, even if his team has won the match.
    - Any player who'd leave after the first one, won't receive any penalties.
    - Leaving the game after peace time is over won't net a penalty. Points would be granted according to team's performance during the match.
    - Player, who has got an ally leaver before the peace time was over, won't receive any defeat penalty, but will get victory points, in case he'd win.
    2. Fixed errors, which prevented player from receiving points after the match is over.
    3. Changed the mechanism of ranking in multiplayer. It's easier to get promotion to higher ranks now and players are distributed more evenly on ranking scale.
    4. Matchmaking algorithm for quick games has been improved.
    5. Fixed a rare error, causing nonmirror matches. Earlier, it was possible to have a Poland+Poland vs Turkey+Turkey matchup, instead of even nation distribution between teams.
    6. Multiplayer games stability has been improved. Fixed some errors causing the game to 'hang up'.

    1. European and Switzerland pikeman protection against arrow decreased from 7 to 6.
    2. Mercenary roundshier protection against arrow decreased from 19 to 17.
    3. Mercenary archer normal arrow attack range increased from 650 to 700.
    4. Mercenary grenadiers grenade attack range increased from 370 to 400.
    5. Shipyards cost rise per building increased from 0% to 50%.
    6. European shipyards cost decreased from 1700 wood, 900 stone, 400 iron to 1600 wood, 800 stone, 400 iron.
    7. Russian, Turkish and Ukrainian shipyards prices were also slightly decreased.
    8. Academy upgrades that increase artillery attack range, hit points, and repair now also have effect on mortars.
    9. Various nations temple, church, cathedral, mosque prices was slightly reworked/decreased.
    10. Turkish archer minimal attack range decreased from 400 to 300

    1. Added 15 minutes of peace time (PT) option.
    2. Slight redesign of main menu and campaign's interfaces.
    3. Added "Tutorial" button, which starts corresponding tutorial campaign.
    4. Small fixes in various localizations have been made.

    Please, I d like to get an answer. Is it possible to save the game in multiplayer mode. For most of fan players, this functionnnality is essential for playing with friends and have good time. Like in cossacks 1, it would be possible to save the game (with 4 players for example) when it is late in the night, and keep on playing the same battle a few days later (with the same players) .

    HELP! I experience giant lags during the process of launching the game since the last patch release. Cossacks 3 used to stert up within 45 seconds before, now it needs nearly 5 minutes and during this time my complete pc freezes and i can't use it. This error stops as soon as the game has started. What to do ?

    I think the balance process, not success now. Because Swiss Jaeger is still overpower too. Developers consider to reduce some of units firepower. So need new patch too.

    Swiss Jaeger or Chasseur you can term whatever you want:)) Yes, all of them are overpowered. It takes a time to produce but when they came to the battlefield, You should run away or die in agony:)) If you have normal country , I mean no weak or no strong, You can't approach to destroy these units. The day before yesterday I used hussars, dragoons, musketeers (17 and 18th century). Although my army on the hill. They killed my all army almost no loss. Very strange indeed:)) Their shooting range is very good and killed my units without approach the hill. When I attacked with my hussars and all my army, I knew that I had no chance against Jaegers. Maybe players are so good maybe units I don't know.

    First you should never attack an army of shooters on a hill?

    Go around, and attack somewhere else.

    Yes, my army on the hill and All of them were dead with agony:)) I don't attack the hill when the Swiss on there:)) That was the frontal attack my hill and player didn't use flanks too. Jaeger count was nearly 700 and support with 100 mounted jaeger. I had four-five formation of 17 and 18th century musketeers(one 120 others 196) with 90 dragoons and 100 hussars. That was the huge blow for me. I used line formation and stand ground too.

    I still think that a lot of units are only broken without cannons (by the way I dislike cannons and like to play without them).

    units with long range, high damage, low health but slow production speed basically just have one thing they cant overcome and that are cannons.
    cannons are basically good against whatever they hit and kill it. meaning cannons are good against everything which is expensive and/or slow to train.

    Even so it requires some work I would give specific units bonus/mali if cannons are disabled or enabled.
    for swiss jaeger like -x damage, -y range

    Hansol, I played without cannon, market and capture. Peacetime is 45 too. According to me, that was a very good time to progress, make defence and everything. But some strong nations with overpowered units killed the game I think. I assumed that the balance process could fix all the problem. But Swiss, French or some nations had very good units. Every player used these units instead of musketeer or pikemen. Maybe I'm wrong, but If you have weak nation play against good chasseur or 18th century, some strong units are very hard to handle them. You can lose all of your army without harm against enemy. That's the real problem. I can't see balance too. If the Swiss had very strong chasseurs, all of the European map could be changed by that way. I think a balance needs all units in the game. Swiss, French, maybe Denmark, Prussia,Ukraine... Some of the nations need good units too. Russia, Venice, Sweden. I think all of them are bad in the game. I can add Turkey too. No fast cavalry, no special musketeer equivalent 18th century. The game still needs to develop.

    This sentence alone could sum up all the content inside this forum even though I have almost no more hopes to see this happen by the official hands of gsc; also, by seeing how lame the matches get during season clash I've decided to put myself in first line and, starting from easy graphics restyles, I'll give my best to succed a total rework and overhaul of the gameplay by following an already extabilished schedule

    yeah the last season clash was indeed very boring personally for me. I like to watch professional 1vs1 RTS matches (broodwar and so). But the last videos uploaded were pretty lame.
    -almost only 17c pike (or roundshield) and mercs. Very few stable or 18c barrack units
    -rush and raid
    -most games ended way to early (almost no walls or cannons)

    I made a topic after the last season clash but not much reply (another indication that this forum is pretty dead) .
    I would like to see more unit diversity, would hope for a patch that makes early stables more important. right now you basically just upgrade pike, 2* +2 shield upgrades and then very late build and upgrade other units.

    Developers, please help us. We can't play this game.We need new patches for the game. Game will die. The game connection problem occured again and again. Although I had an internet connection. That was really annoying.

    For me as well a lot of other people the game is already dead.

    I basically just look here from time to tome to see either a new content dlc announcement (pretty unlikeable) or a new game like AQ2.

    I have not been around, neither have played for over 8 months. But it is amazing how such low quality product is still alive. Looking at the bug reports, it appears to be low quality even today, so long after its release. Modding tools, where are they? When are you going to fix your shit that so many loyal fans bought?
